Suffolk Year of Walking

Suffolk’s Year of Walking is a campaign celebrating walking in Suffolk. It provides a platform to promote walking events and activities, as well as provide inspiration and opportunities to encourage people to walk more often.

We’re pleased to report that Suffolk’s Year of Walking website is now live and can be accessed at www.suffolkyearofwalking.co.uk.

The website lists walking events across the whole of Suffolk including everything from wildlife walks and dog walks, to ghost walks and 26 mile ‘Challenge Walks’. There is something for all ages and all abilities!

Be sure to watch the Suffolk Year of Walking campaign video entitled ‘How Do You Do It?’ Also, don’t forget to tell us about your walking events and we’ll add them to the website.

We have a range of resources available to individuals and organisations who would like to benefit from linking their events to Suffolk’s Year of Walking. They include logo, web banner, posters, stickers, pull up-banners and tear drop flags. All of these resources are free of charge, and can be requested on the Suffolk Year of Walking website.
